Jonah Price
My name is Jonah Price. (a.k.a. JyoNah) I’ve been living in Eugene, Oregon since age seven, when my parents and I moved here from Northern California. At the time of this writing, thats 11.5 years that I’ve been here, and come springtime, I’ll be moving to New York City – probably Brooklyn.
I’m all about people, connecting with them, making friends, and working with others to make things happen. The capacity the internet has for communication brought me to get to know it better, like I’d try to get to know a friend.
I’m a potent person, and often bear a very strong presence. I come off strong and have a history of being just a little bit to much for some of the weaker hearted. By consequence, I’m rather self conscious, second guessing myself often, – and I’m told I apologize for things too much.
Career
My career hasn’t been pinned down as of yet, but my strengths are those that bring me to write things down here. I’ve begun to fancy the idea of a position in Web-Community Management, and my past career aspirations have been in fields such as Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, New Media Marketing, Writing, or even Acting back in the day.

This page will be a log of the thing I say and think about the things I do and see. The likelihood is it will pertain to websites like Facebook, Hulu, GrooveShark, Twitter, YouTube, and the way they get used, develop, and impact the way the persons who use them interact.
The Screen Name
I’ve long been somewhat of a Japanophile, I enjoy the ever so popular animated japanese films and television series, I long to visit Tokyo, and Japanese was my second choice for a second language in high school. My screen name; JyoNah is in a sense a tribute to the Japanese language. My name is Jonah Price – when one tries to write and then pronounce that name in Japanese, the closest they can get is pronouncing it sounds like “Gio-Nah” So I change the Jonah, of Jonah Price into JyoNah – with a capitalized N to emphasize the second syllable.
